We kept our air conditioning at 60° - the lowest possible. The lightbulb was out when we first got there - how can maids/maintenance/quality control people not know this? The thermostat doesn’t work. Could you replace the cracked basin? The dated rooms really need to be renovated. Maid was wonderful CONS: Couldn’t you hang at least one towel rack in the bathroom? If you are truly trying to save water and the planet, a rack will dry the towel so no one needs to request new towels daily. Shuttle drivers and front desk are so so friendly and helpful. Some on the fourth floor have balconies which would be great. But I don’t know if it is a good view on the lower floors, since the trees are growing high. We were on fourth floor, so had a good view. Watch riders exercise the horses in the morning, and then jockeys atop them for the races at night, in the summer. Plus, if you pay extra for a room in the back, you’ll be overlooking the horse track. Especially if you’re going to the casino because it’s on the same side of the street.
